The CD includes all the Concept Cartoons™ and background text from the book.
The Concept Cartoons™ are in colour, with some movement of the characters. After
the main statement comes up on screen the other speech bubbles stay blank until
you click on the character. On an interactive whiteboard it is possible to
insert the pupils' own ideas in the empty speech bubbles.
The
Science Questions books are written for young children to
use at home or in school. They use a story format which is
based on a concept cartoon. They invite young children to
think about situations and provide guidance for a supported
investigation that they can carry out. These books also link
science and literacy very effectively.
